PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF EXTRACURRICULAR PROJECT-BASED ACTIVITIES IN SHAPING THE SOCIO-CULTURAL ACTIVITY OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The article examines the pedagogical potential of extracurricular project-based activities in shaping the socio-cultural activity of high school students. The author analyzes the role of project work in developing qualities such as critical thinking, responsibility, independence, and communication skills, which contribute to enhancing students' social activity. Methods of critical analysis and generalization helped identify the pedagogical potential of project-based activities in fostering social responsibility, cultural initiative, and civic engagement among high school students. Extracurricular projects are considered a means of integrating theoretical knowledge into practical activities, essential for the development of personal and meta-subject skills. The process of shaping socio-cultural activity through project-based activities involves engaging students in real social and cultural processes, promoting the development of their active civic position and social responsibility. The article emphasizes the importance of cultural integration and social interaction within project activities, enabling high school students to recognize their role in society. The results of the study confirm the effectiveness of extracurricular project-based activities as a tool for fostering the socio-cultural activity.
