In the context of modern socio-economic and cultural changes, fostering social responsibility among students has become a significant task, as it supports their personal development and prepares them to address pressing social challenges, such as social justice, environmental sustainability, and supporting vulnerable groups. The aim of this study is to identify the factors and risks influencing the formation of social responsibility in students. The study employed survey methods to collect data on students' perceptions of social responsibility, their motivation, and their level of involvement in social projects. Data analysis was carried out using statistical methods, allowing for an assessment of changes in students' social responsibility levels before and after participation in socially significant initiatives. The study also identified several risks that hinder social participation, including time constraints, a lack of information on available initiatives, and insufficient support from educational institutions. The discussion emphasizes the importance of integrating educational programs and extracurricular activities to overcome these barriers and strengthen social responsibility. In conclusion, it is noted that students' active involvement in socially significant activities contributes to their personal growth and prepares them to address social issues, making an important contribution to sustainable societal development.
