STUDY OF HIGH SCHOOL PROFESSORS’ ATTITUDE TO INCLUSIVE HIGHER EDUCATION IN RUSSIA AND KAZAKHSTAN

The relevance of the study is determined by the requirements of the social order to create conditions for the professional training of people with disabilities and special needs in the higher education system. The analysis of scientific literature suggests that the effectiveness of inclusive higher education is significantly influenced by the degree of readiness of higher school professors to work in an inclusive environment. The purpose of the study is to determine the attitude of professors from two universities in Russia and Kazakhstan towards inclusive vocational education. The obtained results made it possible to identify the main similarities and differences between university professors in terms of their attitude towards teaching students with disabilities and special needs at a modern university and assess their willingness to meet the challenges of inclusive higher education. There were determined the main directions of further research which included the readiness of university professors to work in conditions of inclusion.
