PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES TO PROMOTING HEALTHY EATING HABITS AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The article examines the theoretical foundations and pedagogical approaches to implementing educational programs aimed at promoting healthy eating. It highlights methods and technologies that foster students' skills in selecting nutritious foods, meal planning, and understanding the importance of a balanced diet. To achieve the research objectives, theoretical methods of pedagogical analysis were employed, including comparative analysis, systematization of scientific sources, and modeling of pedagogical situations. The study explores the essence of informational-educational, practical, motivational, social, and integrated approaches as mechanisms for transferring knowledge about healthy eating into students' daily practices. Special attention is given to the use of digital educational platforms and interactive methods that contribute to the formation of sustainable health-preserving attitudes. The research emphasizes the need to combine theoretical education and practical learning forms to enhance the effectiveness of educational influence on students. The significance of an interdisciplinary approach integrating knowledge from biology, medicine, social psychology, and pedagogy is underscored. The article examines potential methods of utilizing software that could promote healthy eating habits and enhance overall health among students. The study concludes by emphasizing the necessity of developing pedagogical approaches to cultivating healthy eating habits in educational settings. Recommendations are provided for university educators on designing and implementing effective pedagogical strategies in this field.
