The need to study the problem of the peculiarities of the development of coherent speech of primary school students with psycho-physical developmental disorders (PPDD) is driven by modern socio-economic conditions and the necessity to implement the principle of inclusion in education. In the process of speech development, many higher mental forms of human cognitive activity are formed, such as abstract thinking, analytical reasoning, critical comprehension, and creative imagination. Speech is not an innate ability, but develops during ontogenesis in parallel with the child’s physical and mental development. It serves as an important indicator of overall development. Coherent speech is one of the conditions for students to master literacy, develop their speech-thinking and cognitive activities. Due to the low level of speech development, students with PPDD experience communication difficulties. Violations of the formation of coherent speech hinder academic success, the effectiveness of school adaptation, and cause deviations in the formation of a child's personality. In this regard, one of the tasks of pedagogical assistance and support for primary school students with PPDD is to find optimal ways to develop coherent speech. Taking into account the peculiarities of the development of coherent speech in this category of students will contribute to improving the quality of education.
