THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING MULTILINGUAL EDUCATION IN TRAINING FUTURE TEACHERS AT KAZAKHSTAN UNIVERSITIES

The role of multilingual education in the training of future teachers at Kazakhstan universities is revealed, the theoretical foundations for developing multilingual education are studied. The contribution of the great enlighteners of the Kazakh people to the development of harmonious relations and cooperation between the peoples of Russia in the history and culture of Kazakhstan is justified. It is noted that the multilingual education of the future teacher at the university (as one of the means of developing communications and mutual understanding between people) contributes to encouraging children and youth to understand the educational potential of the traditions of the peoples of Kazakhstan in the multicultural community. It is concluded that the multilingual education of future teachers contributes to the formation of professional competence in pedagogical activities. The article reveals the theoretical foundations for multilingual education in the professional training of future teachers at the university, which contribute to effective communicative interaction with representatives of other cultures, the definition of personal attitudes and communicative strategies for behavior in a multicultural environment, and overcoming problems of mutual understanding. Basing on the empirical research it has been proved that the professional training of future teachers who learn three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) in multilingual education based on educational potential of traditions of Kazakhstan peoples is successful, especially while developing students’ readiness for pedagogical activity. The materials of the article can be used at the lectures on Comparative Pedagogy and Ethnopedagogy, as well as in the organization and implementation of teaching internship of future teachers in the multicultural educational space of the school.
