FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PATRIOTIC VALUES AMONG STUDENTS

This article is devoted to the development of patriotic values of adolescents and youth. The definitions of the concepts of "patriotism" and "patriotic values" have been clarified. The relevance of the development of patriotic values of student youth in modern society is justified. Current problems arising at the state level in the formation of patriotic values of adolescents and youth are presented. Attention is drawn to the significant role of the education system in solving this problem. Emphasis is placed on the need to form a civic position, patriotic values and moral education of adolescents and youth in ensuring the sovereignty of the country. The article pays attention to contextual factors of society's life, such as historical context, state regulation, sociocultural environment (impact of society, media), which influence the development of patriotic valuesof adolescents and youth. The features of the development of patriotic valuesof adolescents and youth are described. As a result, the authors concluded that the development of patriotic values of adolescents and youth is possible only with a comprehensive impact based on national priorities.
