FORMATION OF STUDENTS' CIVIC POSITION IN GRANT ACTIVITIES

The article investigates the issues of students' civic position formation in the context of grant activities. It is emphasized that in modern society the civic position is a significant component of the formation of an active civil community. Grant activity serves as a tool to achieve this goal, as it allows to realize ideas and projects aimed at improving the life of society and solving its problems. The article deals with various pedagogical tools that can be effective in the development of students' civic position, including participation in volunteer and charity projects, use of gaming technologies and realization of educational and research projects. The article analyzes foreign experience of grant support for students in such countries as Germany, England, Canada, Sweden, India and China. The research results show that grant activities can be an effective mean for the formation of students' civic position, which determines the development of their social responsibility, creativity, innovation in various fields of activity and contributes to the development of society as a whole. The results of the study can be useful both for students involved in grant activities and for professors, organizers and project managers in this area.
