NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL APPROACH TO TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO PRESCHOOL CHILDREN BY MEANS OF ROLE-PLAY GAMES

The game-based methods to teach English to 5-7-year-old children developed by the authors are presented in the article. The proposed materials are based on the major children neuropsychological development characteristics. The authors have pointed out the main stages and key peculiarities of preschool children brain development. The article refers to the indicated age category main characteristic skills and abilities. The proposed game-based instruments for the English language studying allow preschool children to fix lexical and grammatical minimum and to obtain the first communicative competences for the further successful English language studying during their school educational period.
