ORGANIZATION OF EXPERIMENTAL WORK ON FOSTERING FUTURE ECONOMISTS’ INTELLECTUAL CULTURE

The aim of the research is to determine the actual level of intellectual culture of future economists, which will enable the planning of further scientific work. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature allowed to clarify the fundamental concept of the study, while identifying the components, criteria, and levels of intellectual culture of future economists. Great emphasis has been placed on the experiment, since the credibility of the data obtained and the progress of the research rely to a large extent on the underlying parameters. The comprehensive analysis of regulatory documents has revealed the development of competences in education. Within the framework of the competency approach, a course on foreign language has been conducted, taking into account the inter-dimensional connections, in order to evaluate the students’ knowledge and skills, as well as to analyze their motivation. The preliminary diagnostics has disclosed the initial level of formation of intellectual culture among students in both experimental and control groups.
