IMPLEMENTATION OF INDIVIDUAL EDUCATIONAL ROUTES OF MOVEMENT CULTURE FORMATION AMONG OLDER PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

Formation of the movement sphere and changes in physical fitness of older preschool children as a component of a child's readiness for schooling is considered. The effectiveness of implementation of individual educational routes of changing the level of physical fitness of older preschool children on the basis of the author's programme of formation of movement sphere and development of physical qualities is evaluated. Typical mistakes in the technique of the main types of movements of older preschool children (walking, running, jumping, throwing, climbing) are specified and described. The most effective physical exercises contributing to the elimination of technical mistakes of movements are revealed, the levels of formation of children's motor skills are determined. The effectiveness of using individual educational routes in physical education of children of older preschool age has been investigated. The sample of drawing up individual educational routes taking into account the revealed deficiencies of movement technique is offered. On the basis of surveys and questionnaires of physical education teachers of preschool educational institutions the most technically difficult types of movements for children of senior preschool age were determined; the teachers' opinion was supported by the analysis of children's testing results. The implementation of the proposed methodology will increase the level of physical readiness of 6–7-year-old children for schooling, as well as form a stable interest of children in physical exercises. The article draws conclusions about the effectiveness of the implementation of individual educational routes for the formation of movement culture in children of older preschool age.
