MASTER’S PROJECT-BASED FINAL QUALIFICATION WORK AS A RESULT OF UNIVERSAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES FORMATION

In modern conditions, final works of a practical orientation, which are based on interaction with a real customer, acquire great significance and value. The article presents a description of the process of preparing, defending and evaluating a master's project. The authors demonstrate the experience of implementing pilot master's projects of students who chose Linguistics as their major, in interaction with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). The authors come to the conclusion that this type of final qualification work forms the competencies necessary for a modern graduate to successfully compete in the labor market. On the example of final qualification works in Linguistics, the authors propose an algorithm for completing a master's thesis as a project. The article notes the possibility of such projects reaching the interdisciplinary level.
