TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF DOMESTIC PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION IN MODERN SOCIO-CULTURAL CONDITIONS

The article is devoted to an urgent problem that requires an immediate solution – the problem of updating domestic professional pedagogical education. The authors rightfully argue that the need to address this issue is based on the current geopolitical and sociocultural reality, which sets the requirements for the quality of professional pedagogical education and the corresponding professional training of Russian teachers. Based on these requirements, the authors have correctly formulated the research goal, which is to identify and justify the main trends and prospects for the development of domestic pedagogical education. The article highlights and analyzes three significant problems in the development of teacher education in Russia. The following issues were identified: the problem of the systemic and educational level; the problem of civic and patriotic education of future teachers; and the problem of digitalization of professional and pedagogical education. In the analysis of the first identified problem, the authors identified the methodological prospects for the development of professional training for Russian teachers, which, according to the authors, are due to the need to transform the traditional knowledge-based paradigm of professional and pedagogical education into an anthropocentric paradigm, which is a fundamental condition for its constructive development. The analysis of the second stated problem allowed the authors to formulate a conclusion about the need to improve the quality of civic and patriotic education of future teachers in order to form their civic and patriotic worldview, which is a necessary condition for their readiness to carry out the indicated education of children, adolescents, and young adults in their professional teaching activities. In addressing the third stated problem, the authors formulated the following conclusion: the digitalization of pedagogical education necessitates the setting of modern goals for the training of future teachers, as well as the corresponding updating of its content and technological support. Overall, the presented article is scientifically sound, and the issues discussed in it are undoubtedly relevant.
