PREVENTION OF TEENAGERS' SOCIAL EXCLUSION IN THEIR PEER GROUP

This study examines the pressing issue of adolescent social exclusion in school settings, which manifests itself in the isolation of individuals and negative interpersonal relationships, including bullying, aggression, and manipulation of the majority's behavior. The aim of the study was to develop and implement a program to prevent adolescent social exclusion among peers. The theoretical foundation of this work is based on the work of domestic and international researchers exploring the causes and consequences of social exclusion. Empirical methods of sociometry, questionnaires, and teacher observation were used. The study was conducted at a general education institution in Krasnodar. The respondents were students in grades 8 and 9, aged 14 to 16. The study experimentally demonstrated that the developed prevention program reduces social exclusion, improves the emotional and psychological climate, and increases student cohesion. The program has proven effective in reducing the number of isolated adolescents and increasing their satisfaction with their status within the group. It has been proven that changing attitudes towards excluded teenagers leads to an improvement in the overall atmosphere in the classroom and a reduction in aggressive behavior.
