The problem of studying mass sport as a means of forming patriotic values in youth is becoming especially significant because of global challenges and threats that our country faces. Youth is among the social groups most vulnerable to this type of threats. «Concept of Spiritual and Moral Development and Personal Education of the Russian Citizen» pays special attention to patriotic education of children and youth, which is seen as a feeling and a formed position of loyalty to one's country and solidarity with its people.
